NYMC has held many events to provide an opportunity to bring people to get to know God. Here are a few things we have done. NYMC held a Free Water event on a few hot summer days, where we shared God’s word and music in the street and handed out free water to those passing by. We got their contact information and asked if there was anything they would like for us to pray for.  We also hold Coffee Houses where we express talents and the word of God in an informal atmosphere, through hip hop, songs and poems. Our retreat to Paradise Lake is also an evangelic tool we use to get people to come and know their wonderful maker in a beautiful place where the scenery of God’s work is just phenomenal. We never close our doors to anyone. No matter what race, age, or gender. We welcome everyone and are glad when we see new faces in the church. As a church we are always striving to do better in the evangelistic arena.  We are called by God to share the gospel and share the love of Christ.
