New Youth Made in Christ is church dedicated to reaching high school and college students for Christ. NYMC is affectionately called “Not Yo Mama’s Church” for the simple reason that as our youth invited their friends, the response was usually ”my mom’s church…”. To which we would reply with loving “well, this ain’t yo mama’s church”. After almost two years of ministry, we found ourselves seeking a larger space than the basement we met in down in Union City, NJ. Through much prayer and searching, the Lord has blessed us with our present location in the Ramapo Valley Baptist Church. Here our ministries of praise and discipleship have flourished. Our children’s ministry has grown to almost one third of the church. Our young people are writing their own songs and raps as well as developing their drama. Founded in February 2004, we have just celebrated our sixth anniversary as a church.
